Game rules

1. Communication

1.1. When communicating with other players, you are prohibited to use insults, slander, brutality, provocation, threat to life, health, blackmail and profanity.

1.2. You are prohibited to spread propaganda of violence, cruelty, suicide, drugs, discrimination on any grounds (political, religious, national, racial, etc.) and any other actions that may adversely affect the human psyche or violate the International Law.

1.3. You are prohibited to spreading false information about the server and Administration server as a whole, as well as the messages in any way denigrating the Administrators or the server itself.

If you are facing with any kind of violation, do not enter into offender's discussion nor respond to his/her communications any further. Instead inform us a complaint via Support Ticket, attach a proof confirming their violation.

Point 1.1 does not apply to personal messages, party chat or guild chat. You can block private messages in-game by using this command: "/ex (user)" or "/exall".

All users should always use a healthy common sense when communicating with other players, both in-game, forum or other communication platforms.


2. Unacceptable behavior

2.1. You are not allowed to disseminate any information on behalf of the Administration, or impersonating a representative of the Administration.

2.2. You are not allowed to use incorrect / offensive / provocative / containing profanity on your character names, guild names, party, game shops, etc.

2.3. You are not allowed to spread campaign or advertising of other RO servers.

2.4. You are not allowed to post information, as well as to make the purchase, sale or exchange of game items, coupons, Zeny, characters, accounts for real life currency or its virtual counterparts.

Sanctions for offenders can be temporary ban, account data rollback, or even permanent account deletion. The punishment will be adjusted to severity of the case.


3. Gaming interaction

3.1. You are not allowed to interfere in the work of the Administration (through the provision of false information, misleading, fake screenshots or video, spam / flood in private message, and so on).

3.2. You are not allowed to interfere with other players (for example, to block ranged attacks using Pneuma, blocks the movement of other players using Ice Wall, spamming spells in public places excessively, etc.).

3.3. It is prohibited to do malicious killsteal (monster killing when the specified monster is in a fight with another player), use "@noks" command to prevent other player to kill steal from yourself.

3.4. You are not allowed to misuse the skill Warp Portal at any point of occurrence of other players.

3.5. You are not allowed to use the Dead Branch or other monster summoning items at a distance of less than 10 cells from other players.

Paragraph 3.2, 3.3, 3.5 does not apply in battle against MVP or mini-boss monsters, they are Free For All.

When in battle with the player are more than 6-8 monsters, it is permissible to kill the excess monsters.


4. Using the game of errors (bugs, exploits), automation of gameplay

4.1. You are not allowed to use any errors (bugs, exploits, backdoors, etc) in the game.

4.2. You are not allowed to post information about the programs that automate gameplay or otherwise allow to obtain an unfair advantages, interfering with the game mechanics (bots, macros, item duplicators, and so on). As well as any client modifications, except those that have been allowed by the Administration.

4.3. You are not allowed to receive and / or store of illegal duplicated items, fraud (obtaining goods by fraud game, etc), as well as the receipt and / or storage of items.

4.4. It is prohibited to do unauthorized access to someone else's game account.

4.5. It is prohibited to share access of your game account to someone else. Administrators are not be responsible of any results that may happen.


5. Donation

5.1. You are not allowed to use any illegal way to donate by the International Law (for example using a stolen credit card).

5.2. If you want to make a refund request, please open a Support Ticket on the forum, then we will process according to the situation, whether the refund will be partial or a full refund.

5.3. If you do the refund request by yourself without telling the Administrator first, we will do a permanent ban to the game account immediately.

5.4. The Cash Items are digital goods, you will not receive any physical item nor proof of shipment.

5.5. All transactions on the Cash Shop are final, there will be no refund. If you have any hesitation about items on the Cash Shop, please contact the Administrator before you exchange your points.

5.6. Administrators have the rights to block certain regions to do donation. Currently blocked regions: Belgium, Czech.

5.7. If your account is suspended or terminated, or if we stop offering the services in your region, you will lose access to any unspent points and any items you may have exchanged. You acknowledge that you will not get any refund.

5.8. The donation process is done via third party payment provider(s). We do not process your payment information, therefore we are not responsible for your relation with the payment provider(s), which may have their own terms of service.

5.9. We reserve the rights to remove any items and/or points from your account if you violate the terms or rules of our service.

5.10. The donation is purely optional, we do not sell anything to players. It is up to the players themselves whether they want to donate or not. Donation is a way to support the project to keep it alive.


6. Security

6.1. Do not share any private information to other party, including your game and forum account, the Administrators will never ask for your information.

6.2. Do not download or use anything from untrusted people, please be advised that there are many malicious ways to harm you or your accounts, use your common sense.

6.3. Do not be fooled by fake Administrator or other player who claims to be Administrator, including fake characters in-game or Forum. If you have doubts or questions, contact us via Support Ticket.

6.4. We are not responsible to any result that may come if you communicate and follow instructions from a fake Administrator.

6.5. The user must ensure the safety of their own login and password. Game values that were lost through the fault of the player can not be recovered.

6.6. Do not get involved in any trading activity, including buying, selling, and exchanging any items or points in-game for real life currency.

Approved modifications to the client

At the moment, we only allow the client to use the RCX. Any other modifications will fall under the rules of Point 4.


Rules for submitting a Support Ticket

1. When making a Support Ticket, you should provide us screenshots/videos, that clearly demonstrating the violation of the rules of the game. The controversial and non-obvious cases may require continuous video proof without interruption with duration of several minutes. The videos must be recorded in good quality (that was clearly evident the nickname of the offender) and uploaded to YouTube.

2. The proof must have visible offender nickname.

3. Screenshots must be made by pressing the button «Print Screen». Screenshots made by third-party applications will not be accepted; change the name, size or the file format, as well as in any way cut or trim the image is not allowed.

4. Reports made more than 3 days ago will not be accepted.

5. The complaint must be submitted by the person in respect of which rules have been violated. Complaints from other persons will be ignored.

6. Support Ticket that are not confirmed by proof(s) will be ignored.

7. When you reported something via Support Ticket, any screenshots or video that was taken by third party applications will be ignored.

8. It is also prohibited to spread such screenshots or videos to public in the forum. Their authors will be issued a warning and subsequent actions will be punished.

The penalty for violations listed in the Paragraph 4, does not apply when you are, in fact, did not use the error and immediately reported it the Administration. If you are unsure whether or not found error/bug, or is it just a feature of the game, you need to go to the Administration to ask for an explanation.
